Emma Norton

Health is something we can never stop growing in. In order to reach optimal health, and we must nurture our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies.

My name is Emma Norton and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have clinical experience practicing in inpatient, partial hospitalization, non-profit, and private practice settings. I am inspired by the strength and resilience of individuals who seek our support and am honored to be a part of their journey towards well-being. When I am not working, I am hanging out with my husband and our 2-year-old golden retriever, enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, or baking sourdough bread!

  • Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University – 2017
  • Master of Art from Dallas Theological Seminary – 2021

Approach and Philosophy:

Everyone is special and unique, and your counseling sessions will reflect that. They will be tailored specifically for you. Specific evidence-based techniques and interventions I may use are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), motivational interviewing, expressive techniques, and interactive therapies.

I understand that life can be challenging, and everyone faces unique struggles. I want you to know that I am here to provide unwavering support and a safe space to explore thoughts and emotions without judgment. I will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions, equipping you with the tools needed to overcome obstacles and thrive. We will work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, offering guidance and insights to empower you on your path to well-being. Remember, you are not alone in your struggles. I am committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.
